Are you related to a parent with a drug or alcohol problem? Or do you know someone else who is?

In Oxfordshire, we're trying to help children in families affected by a drug or alcohol problem.

To get that help right, we need to talk to children and young people already affected by this issue.

Help us help you better

Drug and alcohol misuse affects more than 1,000,000 families in the United Kingdom. It's a big, important issue, and to make sure we get the support right, we need the help of people who have first-hand experience of this common concern.

You might be:

• A young person living with a parent or carer who has a problem with alcohol or drugs
• An adult who grew up with a parent or carer who had a problem with alcohol or drugs
• A relative of a child who lives with an adult who has a problem with alcohol or drugs
• A parent who has a problems with alcohol or drugs

If you are a person affected by this issue, please get in touch. Remember, support is available, you are not alone, and we promise not to judge you. With your help we will be able to build support services which work for families in your situation.
