Stay Safe!

The stay safe programme ran through the Easter holidays in 2009. It was based at Banbury Youth Centre. Young people were invited to sessions looking at ways of staying safe when they were out with their friends, and what they could do to look after themselves and friends.

The sessions also included designing posters and leaflets to make other young people aware of safe practice.

These were the fantastic posters that they came up with:
Stay safe on the streets Don't walk through dark places

Don't go to the park or fuields on your own Ignore all strangers

Phone home If someone worries you scream

Thanks to the Chill Out Fund the Stay Safe programme will be running in Banbury Youth Centre this summer, too.
