Face 2 Face counsellors
The Counsellors at Face 2 Face recognise that it is difficult for young people to struggle alone with these issues. They know that children and young people sometimes just need to talk to someone who will listen to them.
All Face 2 Face Counsellors are professionally trained and particularly interested in young people’s issues.
A Face 2 Face Counsellor will offer free and confidential weekly sessions, usually lasting for about 50 minutes. The number of weekly sessions are negotiable between the young person and the counsellor.
You may be interested to know that in addition to our general youth counselling service for 9-19 year olds, we also have funding to offer the following specialist service:
Counselling across the County for young people aged 9 -19 years who are misusing drugs or are at risk of developing drug misuse.
How to get help
There are many professionals in Oxfordshire, such as Youth Workers, Teachers, Doctors, Health Visitors, School Nurses, Social Workers, Community Workers, Personal Advisors and others, who know about the service and will be able to make a referral via our email pcp.referrals@oxfordshire.gov.uk using this form.
