The Vibe is not just a building it’s a place where everyone is made to feel welcome.
In the hall you can get a game of Pool, Table Tennis or Air Hockey and in the Comfy Coffee Bar area there's space to hang out, use the PS2, Dancemat, or Karaoke. Or you could try your hand at something Arty. There's even some space to chat privately if you need to, and in the near future we hope to offer internet access.
The Vibe has a fully equipped Music facility, including a rehearsal space that can be hired out at reasonable rates to young local bands. There's also a recording studio, decks room, access to musical equipment and instruments and a Youth Worker that specialises in Music Project Work. visit www.myspace.com/thevibestudios for more info
The Vibe is a place where your views can be listened to, and you can have your say. The youth workers at The VIBE offer individual support and small group work on a variety of issues. There is also a Youth Worker specialising in Drugs and Alcohol work. And if you'd rather read about it first, the Info Zone is stuffed full of leaflets on all kind of issues that affect young people.
If you live in the area, do drop by or call to see what events are being planned!
