The work to build a brand new young people’s centre in Banbury begins in August 2010. The last youth work session at Banbury Youth Centre will be on 9th July 2010. While the building work is happening, staff will be working from a variety of locations around Banbury. The Detached Team will be working from Bridge Bar and other temporary bases will be confirmed shortly. You can of course still contact Banbury based staff via email and mobile phones. Banbury Youth Forum
Banbury Youth Forum are a group of young people that work with Oxfordshire County Council and Cherwell District Council to take forward issues and resolve problems young people have with Banbury. If you're a young person from banbury aged 13-19 interested in making a difference, ask to join their Facebook Group or drop by the centre and ask about getting involved.
The Safety Card
The Safety Card is given to young people who have been through a condom demonstration and a chat about sexual health. Showing the card means that any worker at a distribution centre will know you have recived training and can give you condoms without the need to go through the demonstration again.
